The shortlist sticks to those published fields. Origins, meanings, personality traits, pronunciation, and worldwide scores sit outside this tool.

How to use the filters
Choose the country or exact regional scope, then the year and publisher category. Rank bands move between the top 10, top 25, and reviewed top 50.
The text field filters starting letters using Unicode normalization for search while preserving every source spelling as its own record.

What an absent name means
An absent name may sit below the top 50, fall below a publisher's privacy threshold, appear under another exact spelling, or be outside the selected year and place. It does not mean nobody used the name.
